Hello! My name is Danielle Burkett, welcome to my online portfolio!

Please feel free to explore my site. You’ll be able to see the various samples of work that I have been able to accomplish throughout my years of study at Messiah College, my semester at Temple University, and my internship with WHAG-TV.

I am currently working as a Production Assistant for HMTV6, a local cable access news station. My responsibilities there include: editing broadcasts, assisting with news and studio prep, creating graphics, running the audio board, and on occasion directing the 6pm and 10pm news.

I am very interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting, although I am comfortable writing for print and web. I love all aspects of radio from hosting a show on-air to working behind the scenes doing production work. I have also had experience in creating, filming, and editing videos intended for broadcast airing.

My other interests lie in spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling, visiting second-hand bookstores, drinking tea, discussing pop culture, reading, and watching a variety of television shows and movies.

Ideally I would love to work in the entertainment industry in a production or editing capacity.
